I used to be Facebook savvy and posted updates on our family there.
Somewhere along the line I forgot I wrote some notes and I just read them yesterday.
Love these memories.

Hi Everyone!
We haven’t sent an update since the girls’ 6 month birthday…so there is lots to tell. They have really come into their own. And they look like little girls more than babies now. It’s really amazing.
We don’t have current weights & measures (sorry you statistic hounds), but I can tell you that they weigh a lot. And they all wear size 12 month clothes at only 10 months old!
…has two teeth .. is crawling and into everything. Once she learned to creep on all fours, she immediately started sitting up on her own and then went to crawling. I am constantly taking things out of her hands or mouth that she should not have….Guess what our weekend project is? Baby proofing. Fun, eh?
... with 4 teeth is having none of it. She wants to stand all the time. She is her own woman and will scream if we don’t help her stand. Since we can’t always do that, our house is quite loud lately. Fortunately we were given a bouncy thing that she can stand in…she spends a lot of time in there.
... (Ms.6 tooth) is sweet, yet cunning. She’ll smile and laugh and grab the others’ toys from them without missing a beat. Imagine the future. I can’t….it’s already loud enough in here. She’s doing the combat crawl and scooting around the living room on her elbows to confiscate the aforementioned toys.
Which leaves me to describe the delight we feel lately. The girls have recently discovered each other. Which makes for a lot of screaming, crying and pulling of hair…BUT it also makes for a bunch of giggling, chatting, and mimicking each other. It’s very fun to witness the triplet interaction, and such a blessing.
We are often asked what it’s like to have triplets or how we do it. Who knows really what it’s like…we’re too tired and crabby to really notice most of the time. How we do it…we just do. You do the best you can with whatever God gives you, right? The blessing is that we have idyllic moments that get us through. Like this morning, ... was sitting on my lap, pulling my hair, then stopped to stare at something. She smiled, giggled and tried to grab something out of the air. It was a piece of dust reflecting the sun. I thought…see it’s good I don’t clean anything anymore…I would have missed this fun moment. Other great moments include; giggling when the cat walks by, giggling when the dog licks their feet, laughing at each other when they grab each others’ hair (sometimes quickly followed by screaming which kind of ruins it), and the huge smile that lights up their faces when Dad gets home from work.
And truly it’s the memory of moments like these that get us through the exhaustion, the diapers, the crabbiness and the repetition of it all.
We thank God for all of you and would love to have a visit!
Blessings,
