Every single day, as often as I can, I tell my daughters that they are "beautiful, intelligent and perfect in every way." Because truly, that is what they need to know. All else falls by the wayside. I want it ingrained in their heads, before they are old enough to bring the world's cynicism to my statement. Because that's how we all are in God's eyes. Before we add in our own bias, submit to others' criticises and bow to society's lies.
